Agility is a great activity for this breed. It's great in many senses - the dog gets to use its brain, its speed and strength. As you have to work as a team, Agility creates a great relationship between the dog and its owner. It gives the dog a lot of confidence, and is therefore highly recommended if you have a dog with low self-esteem. After I have been training Agility for a couple of years, I am convinced that a Ridgeback being allowed to do Agility is a much happier dog - IT'S JUST GREAT FUN !
The following photos are sent by Ann and Mark Rudd from the US. They have two dogs that they train and compete with - Koda's Gold Dust Woman NA, NAJ, JC aka" Stevie", and CH TimberCreek's Emerald Isle CD, MX, MXJ, VC, TDI, HIC aka "Mick"
